Caramel Chocolate Cone Rolled Ice Cream

Rolled ice cream is a fun, satisfying treat you can make at home with just a handful of ingredients and a cold plate — no churn, no freezer wait required. This version layers rich milk chocolate and crunchy sugar cone pieces into a creamy caramel-and-maple base, then rolls it up right before your eyes. It comes together in about 15 minutes and makes the perfect single-serve indulgence for a hot day or a late-night sweet tooth. Top it with a drizzle of chocolate sauce and you've got a seriously impressive dessert with almost zero effort.

Ingredients

for 1 serving

  • 1 sugar cone, chopped
  • 1 oz milk chocolate, chopped
  • ¼ cup heavy cream
  • 3 tablespoons whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon caramel sauce
  • ½ tablespoon maple syrup
  • chocolate sauce, for topping

Preparation

  1. Add the chopped sugar cone and chopped chocolate to the stainless steel cold plate of a frozen, prepared rolled ice cream maker. Use the spatula tools to break into smaller pieces, then push everything to one side of the plate.
  2. Pour the heavy cream, whole milk, caramel sauce, and maple syrup onto the cold plate. Use the spatula tools to stir until well mixed, then work in the cone and chocolate pieces until everything is evenly incorporated.
  3. Spread the ice cream mixture evenly across the cold plate into a thin layer, about ¼ inch thick. If there is excess mixture, remove it to a small bowl and set aside.
  4. Let the mixture set for 5 minutes, then use the spatulas to roll the ice cream. If you set aside any excess mixture, add it to the plate now, let it set, and roll.
  5. Transfer the rolls to a small bowl and drizzle with chocolate sauce.
  6. Enjoy!
